St. Rocco's Hospice is an equal opportunities employer

Chief Executive

St. Rocco’s Hospice has been established for 26 years in Warrington. With 110 staff and 600+ volunteers, we aim to provide quality care and support to patients with life threatening illnesses, their families and friends so that each person can find comfort, hope, strength and peace. The Hospice is governed by a Council of Management, made up of 12 elected trustees. We now occupy modern, purpose built premises in landscaped grounds, a short drive from the town centre, which comprise a 10 bedroom In Patient Unit and a Day Care Facility with 25 places.

Responsible for a budget of £3m+ and working closely with the Board of Trustees, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure that the Hospice meets its charitable objectives within the strategic and governance framework set by the Board of Trustees.

Whilst direct experience in a hospice setting is not essential, we are looking for an inspirational leader with the vision to take the Hospice forward to its next chapter. With proven management skills in a related sector and commercial acumen together with the ability to motivate others, you will have the flexibility and drive to build effective relationships internally and externally with our major partners and to build on our excellent support from the local community.
