Naming us as your Charity of the Year
This can have huge benefits for both St. Rocco’s Hospice and your company. Benefits to your company include enhanced staff motivation, a commitment to corporate responsibility and improved teambuilding opportunities through fundraising activities.
There are many ways in which you can fundraise and we would be more than happy to talk to you about this, develop your ideas and support your fundraising efforts. Some examples are listed below:
- Donate a day’s profits or make a company donation
- Raise funds for a specific Hospice project
- Encourage employees to take part in existing Hospice events (click here for a full list of events)
- Organise a team building event
- Encourage a payroll giving scheme
- Match employee fundraising efforts with £ for £ sponsorship
Sponsorship
St. Rocco’s Hospice organises a wide range of fundraising events, from sporting challenges to dinner dances. These professionally organised activities offer sponsorship opportunities that generate positive brand awareness and offer you a targeted way to reach a variety of key audiences.
The renowned Starlight Ladies Walk is a prime example. Around 2000 women take part in this Walk each year, collectively raising over £750,000 for St. Rocco’s Hospice over the past 4 years. For a full list of events, please click here
Corporate Events

Recycling
Many ink and toner cartridges are thrown away by companies each year. St. Rocco’s Hospice can recycle these. This can be beneficial for your company and can enhance staff motivation as well as improving team building opportunities through fundraising activities.
Personalised St. Rocco’s Hospice Christmas Cards
Christmas cards are a highly visible reminder to your customers of the value you place on their business. They send the important message that your company cares at Christmas. You can order cards through Creation Greetings, which can be overprinted with your company details. A percentage of the cost of the card is donated directly to St. Rocco’s Hospice.
Alternatively, contact the Appeals Team to ask about eCards- where all company members can add their own seasonal greeting and monies that would have been spent on Christmas cards could be donated to the Hospice instead.

Talks and Presentations Available
Let us help you to appreciate the full range of palliative care that is provided free of charge by the Hospice. We can visit your work place to promote the work of the Hospice.
Volunteering
Workforce volunteering is always most welcome. Volunteers are vital to St. Rocco’s Hospice and there are several ways to get involved. Follow the link to volunteering or contact the Volunteers' Office on 01925 575780
Gifts In Kind
These could be donations of something you produce or goods in your line of business that could be helpful to St. Rocco’s Hospice. Any ideas or offers of support are greatly welcomed and can be discussed.
Collecting Tins and Merchandise Sales
How about having a collection tin in your workplace? What about selling our range of small beanie toys and key rings on your reception area or staff canteen? Collecting tins and merchandise sales are an easy way of supporting St. Rocco’s Hospice. It is surprising how income from these mounts up and makes a real difference to us.
