Hospice Shops

Traditionally, the shops have been managed and run by volunteers – now numbering more than 270 – whose efforts repeatedly put St. Rocco’s at the top of the league tables of Charity Shops nationally.

Awards won by the shops range from the ‘most profitable’ to the ‘most volunteer hours’ given by our volunteers.

Income from the shops has grown year on year, justifying expansion to new sites - now seven in total - the running of the Hospice furniture van and more recently our signing the lease on our largest premises. We opened these for trade in April 2007 as our 'Furniture and Interiors' shop at Bridgefoot – a prime site in the centre of Warrington.
