Dragon Boat Race

This year’s Dragon Boat race proved a huge success, with twelve teams competing for the coveted first place trophy. The team that finally came out on top was Polar Ford, followed closely by Kristy’s Crew in second place and the A-Team in third.

The rain held off for the day and even the local community were really getting involved, cheering on the teams as they made their way up the river.

There were some excellent outfits, with everything from Vikings to pirates, and the trophy for the best-dressed team was awarded to P.Q Pirates, who clearly made a huge effort and looked absolutely superb!

Congratulations to all the competitors and, of course, a huge thank you to all our supporters and organisers, all of whom helped to make the event a brilliant success
