Help us create a woodland walk in our gardens

Garden AppealOur gardens are nearly complete. Please help us create a Woodland Walk at the Hospice for our patients and their families.

Here at St. Rocco's we have spent the last 12 months thoughtfully planning and landscaping the hospice grounds to provide a haven of peace and tranquility for patients and families who are experiencing the most traumatic of times.

There will be a sensory area within our garden, planted with shrubs chosen for their scent and tactile qualities. There are water features, birdfeeders and nest boxes to encourage wildlife and a potting and planting area for patients and families to get involved. We are most proud of what will be the Woodland Walk area, where we hope to plant bluebell, daffodil and perennial bulbs, along with wildflowers and other annuals.

The garden will provide patients and families with an opportunity for quiet reflection and gentle exercise amongst nature.

If you would like to sponsor a packet of wild flower seeds or woodland bulbs to be planted in our garden, please click here to make an online donation, or phone the appeals team on 01925 575780 for more information.
