Volunteers receive M.B.E.s
We are very proud to announce that two of our long serving volunteers have been honoured with the MBE.
Anita Taylor (left) received her award for services to charity last autumn. Anita has been raising money for over 25 years and is Volunteer Manager of one of the Hospice's 7 Charity Shops.
Pat Bate was the first volunteer to offer her time on the In-Patient Unit 25 years ago and has volunteered each week since then. Pat will receive her award in the next few months.
The ladies were offered some 'red carpet' treatment at the recent Volunteers' Party and Long Service Awards Evening.
