After huge success with our Fire Walk last year, we are looking for another team of daredevils to face their fears this November. For the first time ever, there will also be a glass walk. Can you walk across smouldering hot coals or razor-sharp glass? Are you brave enough to do both?
Glass and Fire walking is great way to achieve something you never thought achievable and raise money for St. Rocco’s Hospice at the same time!
Glass walking is also known as “Ice walking” and is completely different to fire walking. You will participate in a training seminar which shows how it is possible to walk unharmed on broken glass and also ensures you learn how to give 100% attention to the moment.
Glass walking is the act of wal
You will undergo training lasting around one hour. When the fire has burned to red - hot embers it is raked level and prepared for the walk.
Participants go to the fire, remove their footwear and one by one are invited to walk a short distance, 15ft to be exact, across the smouldering hot coals.
It may sound tough but it’s perfectly safe. You may even be encouraged to have more than one go!
Some people say they feel the heat through their soles, others say it’s freezing cold – have a go for yourself and see which one you feel. Whichever one it is, it certainly won’t be a feeling you’ll forget.
Please note, you must be at least 12 years old to participate in the glass and fire walk. Children between the ages of 12 and 17 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Friday 10th November.

As you can imagine, an event of this nature is expensive to organise so we are asking you to raise as much sponsorship as you possibly can.
We suggest setting yourself a fundraising target of £200 for a glass or fire walk and £300 for braving both!
Fundraising can be done individually or jointly with friends, family, or colleagues. We will send you tips and guidance to help you meet your target.
See the schedule below. You will receive full training before each walk. During this time, you will be motivated and build the confidence to complete the challenge. The Glass & Fire Walk and the training seminar is organised and conducted by UK Fire Walk, one of the UK’s leading Fire Walk companies. So, don’t worry, you’ll be in safe hands!
