It was great to be able to welcome some of those who have raised funds over the last year this week to our ‘Hospice Heroes’ event and celebrate their achievements. As well as undertaking runs, walks cycles and bake sales, supporters had organised flower demonstrations, concerts and supported us via events such as Oktoberfest and Proms in the Park. Younger supporters form Future Tech had organised sweet sales and Christmas Jumper Days. Others had opted for sponsored haircuts, or even having their head shaved!

As well as being presented with a certificate, guests were also given an insight into life at the hospice and how their efforts make a real difference to the lives of our patients and their families.
