This year the theme was ‘a Royal Occasion’ as our guest speaker was Siobhan Clarke, a royal historian based at Hampton Court Palace. In keeping with current happenings, her talk was on the significance of royal babies through the ages which was very much enjoyed by all the ladies present.

Before lunch Jan Costello, a patient from our Vitality Centre, shared her story, outlining how St. Rocco’s has supported her through every step of her journey and highlighting the important friendships she has made with other patients along the way. Her story really struck a chord with those present and many ladies both commented on Jan’s bravery in sharing her story and also on how they had no idea of all the different kinds of support and care that we can offer to patients.

Thank you to all the local businesses and organisations who kindly donated fabulous raffle and tombola prizes and to those who had stalls on the day. So far the event has raised over £4,000.
