The Counselling and Emotional Care Team at St Rocco's is excited to be welcoming the award winning Seattle-based playwright and author Elizabeth Coplan to St Rocco's. She will be here to launch a new book Grief Dialogues, the Book: Stories of Love and Loss.

The collection of voices in the book combine to form a powerful expression of individual accounts of death, dying and grief from over 60 authors, and takes readers into the innermost lives of everyday people dealing with this universal, yet unique, experience.

Elizabeth, an award winning Seattle-based playwright and author, will be in conversation with Dr. Jeanne Broadbent, Counsellor at St. Rocco’s. The event aims to open up discussions and explore personal attitudes to death and dying, whilst helping people to understand that they are not alone with their grief.

Ranging from poetry, prose and plays, the book also includes research findings from Dr Jeanne Broadbent on the impact of traumatic bereavement on therapists’ personal and professional identity and practice.
