Demi is 15 years old and from Warrington. As the current Royal International Miss Great Britain Junior Teen, she is due to fly out in July to Florida to represent Great Britain in one of the biggest international pageants in the world for young people her age.

She began competing in pageants when she was 7 years old.  During this time, she won six national titles. "I know what you will be thinking that what I do is just like the TV show 'Toddler's and Tiaras' - I promise you the naturel pageants I compete in are nothing like this!" said Demi. "Dresses and make up have to be age appropriate and judging is not just based on how you look you also have to be exceptional at interview and be dedicated to working with your community."

Pageant career

Demi continued, "Throughout my pageant career I have raised thousands of pounds for many different charities.  At the age of 13 I began the movement 'Together We Can Make A Difference'. The aim of my platform is to help as many areas of my community as possible and by doing that encourage others to do the same. Some of the things I have done include - collections for the food bank, helping victims of flooding, donating to charity shops, setting up a campaign to knit blankets for babies born sleeping, helping to build a garden for cancer patients and survivors, holding community charity events and I am currently the Youth Ambassador for the Warrington charity 'The Shannon Bradshaw Trust'. Community is a huge part of my life and I love helping and giving back."

Helping the models

"My nanna ,when she was alive always supported St Rocco's. In her memory and in the memory of my Grandad I have sponsored a leaf on the tree of life at the hospice. I saw the fantastic Fashion, Food and Fizz event that was coming up and thought I could help support the hospice and volunteer my time to help the models who are taking part.

"I hope to be able to offer some support before the event with some hints and tips on a great catwalk style to make the models look and feel fabulous and confident on stage - I know how nerve wracking it can be to first step on the stage!  I will also be helping back stage with those all important quick changes. On the evening I will be joined by two further Queens from our Royal team, we will be there to help you look and feel amazing!

"I am really looking forward to working further with St Rocco's, the work you do is unbelievable and I hope my time will help you at your event."
