Fundraising with colleagues can be fun and a great way to bond as a team. There are lots of different ways to get involved!
Get in touch with Nicola Henshaw, our Senior Relationships Fundraiser, to find out more about any of the ways you can support us. Email email@example.com or phone 01925 575780.
Charity of the Year
It's important to us that we get to know our corporate supporters and develop a good relationship with organisations who express an interest in supporting us. Adopting us as your charity for the next twelve months, or longer, is a great way to do this and we hope that it will lead to a lasting relationship which will have a long term impact for our patients.
Take part in one of our events:
Dragon Boat Race
A great way to get all your staff involved in one of our more competitive events
Invite some of your clients or colleagues to form a team and enjoy a day outdoors
Christmas Jumper Day
A simple way to get all your colleagues in the festive spirit! Everyone has a Christmas wooly ready and waiting these days! If not we may have preloved ones available at very reasonable prices in our shops!
Strictly St Rocco's
Booking a table is a great way to kick off your Christmas or maybe you have the next Anton Du Bec or Oti Mabusi in your organisation? Maybe you would like to sponsor this prestigious event attended by over 400 guests?
Sponsor an Event
A great way for your business to support our patients and families is to get involved by sponsoring one of our events. This helps us to put as much as we can into patient care and is a great way to promote your business. We have lots of different opportunities from headline sponsorship to giving in kind, so why not get in touch to discuss the options?
Organise your own event or challenge
Lots of organisations support us in lots of different ways. Choose what works for you and your colleagues! It could be an event, such as an office "Bake Off", a raffle, or a challenge event - cycling, running or climbing mountains!
If you or a group of colleagues raise funds for us, why not find out if your company or business offers match funding? It's a brilliant way of increasing the amount that you can raise and will make a real difference to our patients.
If you want to help but don't see how you can organise your own event, why not invite your colleagues to play our Lottery? Everyone gets to support our patients and families and they could win a prize up to £1,000 as well! You don't even have to do this yourself, invite our lottery canvassers in to your place of work for the day and they will be happy to sign you and your colleagues up! Just think, if you and 10 colleagues join our Lottery at £1 a week, that's an extra £520 supporting our patients every year!
This is an easy and convenient way for you to make a regular donation which will make a real difference to our patients. It also helps us to plan effectively for the future. It is very easy to do online - just send the link to your colleagues to do the same!
Team building and encouraging your staff to work together for a common goal is an important part of any business. We are always delighted when businesses or organisations offer to come and help us with specific projects here at St. Rocco's. Whether it's painting one of our shops or helping us out in our gardens, it all makes a big difference to being able to care for our patients and their families.
If you have volunteered or fundraised for us, or you are thinking about doing so, why not come and see for yourselves what a difference that makes? We invite anyone who is interested in finding out more about our care to come and visit us and see for themselves where we are and what we do.
Our tours take place on the last Tuesday of the month and involve a short presentation and then a walk around St. Rocco's to meet staff and volunteers to find out about all the different ways that we can support people in our community who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness.
You are very welcome to join us. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm dates and book your place.
