Fire walking is great way to achieve something you never thought achievable and raise money for St. Rocco’s Hospice at the same time!
We are looking for a team of daredevils to face their fears and walk a short distance, 15ft to be exact, across the soft glowing smouldering hot coals. It may sound tough but it’s perfectly safe. You may even be encouraged to have more than one go!
Some people say they feel the heat through their soles, others say it’s freezing cold – have a go for yourself and see which one you feel. Whichever one it is, it certainly won’t be a feeling you’ll forget.
Come on, give it a go and help us to help our patients. Entry is £25 and we ask you to try to raise £250 in sponsorship. As you can imagine, an event of this nature is expensive to organise so we are asking you to raise as much money as you possibly can.
The Fire Walk will take place at Rylands recreation club, Gorsey Lane, Warrington, WA2 7RZ on Friday 14th Oct.
What happens on the day?
As a Fire Walker you will receive full training an hour before the Fire Walk. During this time, you will be motivated and build the confidence to complete the challenge. The Fire Walk and the training seminar is organised and conducted by UK Fire Walk, one of the UK’s leading Fire Walk companies. So, don’t worry, you’ll be in safe hands!
- Fire Walkers to arrive at 4.30pm
- Training Seminar at 5pm
- Fire Walk at 6pm
If you can walk on fire, you can do anything!
