Please read the terms & conditions of participation carefully before submitting your entry.
You must complete the online application form and pay your entry fee. Please do not send cash through the post. Each participant must complete their own individual Application Form. The non-refundable entry fee covers all expenses and insurance for the Fire Walk. Participants must be at least 16 years old . St. Rocco’s Hospice reserves the right to refuse entry to the Fire Walk to any person.
In the unforeseeable event that the Fire Walk cannot take place on Friday 14th October 2022, every attempt will be made to rearrange the date. Refunds will only be given if the Fire walk is unavoidably cancelled by St. Rocco’s Hospice. If you cannot take part in the Fire Walk once you have registered, you must contact the Fundraising Team on 01925 575 780 as soon as possible.
Alcohol must not be consumed before the Fire Walk or brought onto the premises of Rylands Recreation Club to consume during the event. There will be alcohol available to purchase from the bar after the event. Entry will be refused to anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
Health & safety
St. Rocco’s Hospice, to the extent permitted by law, exclude liability for loss, damage, injury, consequential loss suffered by any entrant personally or to their property as a result of their entry to or participation in the Fire Walk. All entrants must take responsibility for their own health and safety. You must always pay full attention and listen to the guidelines of the Fire Walk Officials.
All entrants must take responsibility for their own health. If you have any medical conditions that may affect your participation in the Fire Walk please consult your doctor before completing your Application Form and entry fee.
Due to the nature of the event, the Fire Walk may not be suitable for people with a disability. Please contact the Fundraising Team on 01925 575 780 to check whether the Fire Walk is feasible for you.
Clothing & Footwear
You must wear comfortable clothing during the event, and it will be outdoors so you may want to bring a coat. Regarding the footwear, well…you’ll be taking your shoes off anyway!
If you are bringing friends and family with you tell them to wrap up warm!
Dogs are allowed but you must clean up after them and muzzles must be used if required.
By signing up to the Fire Walk you agree to raise a minimum sponsorship of £150. It is an offence to withhold any sponsorship money raised, use it to cover any expenses you incur from participating in the event or donate money to other charities. Please do not bring sponsorship money with you on the night.
Toilets & car parking
There are toilets and car parking facilities available at Rylands recreation club.
Any photographs taken at the Fire Walk may be used in future publicity. By signing the declaration, you agree to us using your photograph. If you do not agree please let the photographer know on the day.
Acceptance of rules & conditions
By signing the Application Form, you agree to follow the rules and conditions of the Fire Walk. When your entry has been received you will receive confirmation that your entry has been accepted.
St. Rocco’s Hospice is committed to protecting your privacy. The data we gather and hold is managed in accordance with the Data Protection Act (2018). We will not disclose or share personal information supplied by you, with any third party organisation without your consent.
