So far, we have an amazing staff team of seven taking part on the 2nd of July 2022

Two half marathons and five marathon distances hikers

Sonya Currey

Half Marathon- Cottons Hotel, Knutsford to St Rocco's Hospice

Why did you want to get involved in this event? - I have the privilege of seeing all areas of the hospice from the care and support our teams provide directly and indirectly on a daily basis to our patients and those important to them, to the challenges we must address to ensure we can continue to do so. The opportunity to be part of a bigger community team, all pulling together with one aim is totally compelling to me and I'm always humbled to be able to engage in such events.

What are you most looking forward to? - Meeting new people, getting to know them and understanding their reasons for getting involved.

Sara-Marie Black

To come together with other hospices, colleagues, friends, family and our community to share and celebrate the great work delivered locally and nationally by hospices.

What are you most looking forward to? - To network with other colleagues, to support each other, to take the first step of many in the path towards collaborative working with our local hospices and communities.

Deborah Ball

Marathon- East Cheshire Hospice to St Rocco's Hospice

Why did you want to get involved in this event? - I enjoy a challenge! I like to be part of a winning team, and St Rocco’s are a winning team:). We want to raise the profile and awareness of hospice care across the area as well as raising money to make a difference in what we can provide for our patients, all of whom deserve the very best of care.

What are you most looking forward to? - Finishing ha-ha, seriously though to supporting each other along the way.
