Last event: 3 December 2017, next event not scheduled

We invite you to celebrate the life of a loved one this Christmas by dedicating a light on our tree.

Dedicate a Light online

Alternatively download our Light Up a Life form to complete and return to us at St. Rocco's.

Light Up a Life is a lovely and sincere way of honouring those we love at the same time as helping us to continue to care for those who need us.

You can dedicate a light online. Your light will take a special place amongst the thousands shining on our tree throughout the festive season.

Anyone can dedicate a light, you don't need to have a prior connection with St. Rocco's.

Every Light Up a Life donation is acknowledged with a commemorative card bearing the name of the person to whom the light is dedicated.

Each name will also appear in the Light Up a Light Book of Honour which will be displayed within the hospice over the Christmas period. The Book of Honour is also available to view online after Christmas.*

Every donation makes such a difference to our patients and their families!

£20 could pay for a complementary therapy session, helping to ease stress

£40 could pay for a physiotherapy session, helping someone to become more mobile

£50 could pay for a family support session for a bereaved family

Our Light Up a Life Services

You are invited to join us at one of our Light Up a Life services to celebrate the lives of those we love and to support the work of St. Rocco's.

This year there are two services:

  • Sunday 3rd December, 4pm at St. Rocco's Hospice
  • Thursday 7th December, 7pm at St. Elphin's Church, Warrington

During both services our Christmas tree will be illuminated and a Dedication Prayer said for the lights. The Book of Homour will be available to view at each service.

"St. Rocco's Light up a Light services are very special. People come from all over Warrinton and even further afield to be at the service. You don't need to be a churchgoer to attend. You will always receive a warm welcome and be in a place where your feelings are understood. There are refreshments available and staff and volunteers are on hand to listen and support."

Tracy Griffin, Home Care Community Outreach Co-ordinator

*Please note that any dedications received after Thursday 30th November will be added to the Book of Honour after both of the services.
