For anyone looking to take on sporting challenges, sponsored events and activities
Whether you’re a keen cyclist, an adrenaline junkie, or you’re looking for a new challenge to test yourself, sponsored challenges are the perfect way to support St. Rocco’s Hospice. Anyone can do a challenge, young or old! You can do a challenge as an individual or get a team together to take part. Invite your friends or family to get involved, a local community group or colleagues at work.
You can get sponsored for any type of challenge…
- Bike ride
- Head shave
- Raft race or team building exercise
- Run or marathon
- Sober October
- Sponsored silence
- Sports day
- Walk, hike or climb
As well as these challenges, there are a range of events which we have places available for in larger-scale events like the English Half Marathon, and the Great Manchester Run. If you fancy something a little more adventurous, we can also talk through the options of overseas challenges. Previous supporters have climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and cycled from France to China!
If you choose to be a Sponsored Superhero for St. Rocco’s, you will get full support from our Fundraising Team which can include….
- A t-shirt or running vest
- Support with online Fundraising Pages
- Equipment such as collection buckets and banners
- A dedicated contact to guide you through the challenge process
- A Fundraising Pack including: sponsorship form, top tips for fundraising, and much more
Personal sponsored challenges are a relaxed way to fundraise as there is no minimum or maximum! Every penny you raise will make a difference, whether it’s £100 or £1000.
If you would like to do a challenge for St. Rocco’s, get in touch to see how you can become a Sponsored Superhero!
