Thousands of runners took to the streets of Warrington on Sunday 20th September 2026 for the annual Warrington Running Festival, with 60 runners proudly joining #TeamRoccos and helping to raise an incredible £20,000 for St. Rocco’s Hospice.
As the event’s Headline Charity Partner, St. Rocco’s Hospice was thrilled to see supporters of all ages and abilities taking part in the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and 1.6K Fun Run. The event brought the community together for a fantastic day of fitness, fundraising and celebration, with participants running in support of local hospice care. We had teams from Clarity Procurement Solutions, McDonald's and Mukaway.
Charlotte Howard, Senior Events Manager at St. Rocco’s Hospice, said, “A huge thank you to everyone who ran, fundraised, and supported St. Rocco’s Hospice at this year’s Warrington Running Festival. The atmosphere was incredible on the day, and it was wonderful to be part of such a brilliant local event, as headline charity partner. Over 80% of our funding comes from our amazing local community, and that’s why events like this are so important to us. We’re incredibly grateful to every single one of our runners and their supporters for helping us continue providing specialist palliative care to local people and their loved ones.”
