Local runners are once again encouraged to lace up their running shoes and join Headline Charity Partner #TeamRoccos as places for the Warrington Running Festival 2026 are now officially open.
Taking place on Sunday, 20th September 2026 in Warrington Town Centre, the popular running event will once again bring thousands of runners to Warrington for a day of fun, fitness, and fundraising. Participants can choose to run a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, or a 1.6K Fun Run, making the event suitable for first-time racers, seasoned runners, and families.
St. Rocco’s Hospice is inviting supporters to secure a FREE charity place, in return for a minimum sponsorship depending on distance, to help raise vital funds to support individuals within the Warrington Community living with life-limiting illnesses and those important to them.

Runners who join #TeamRoccos will receive: a FREE charity place (small registration fee applied in August), a bespoke running vest, and dedicated fundraising support.
The Warrington Running Festival has become one of the North West’s best-loved running events, attracting participants of all abilities and creating a vibrant atmosphere across the town centre.
Places are expected to fill quickly, and supporters are encouraged to register early to guarantee their place to run for #TeamRoccos.
