On Sunday, 10th May, 450 participants gathered at Walton Hall and Gardens, dressed in white t-shirts and vibrant accessories, ready to walk, run, or jog their way around the park in support of St. Rocco’s Hospice.
The event began with entertainment from MC Adrian Cunliffe and a performance by Atomic Theatre Arts, and an energetic group warm-up with Sharon Banister PT. The run then kicked off with a spectacular colour throw, which was the perfect photo opportunity for all involved.
Throughout the course, participants were showered in bursts of brightly coloured powder as they made their way around the 1.5km route through the beautiful grounds of Walton Hall and Gardens. Along the route, runners and walkers passed through three lively colour stations: pink, blue, and orange. Volunteers at each station enthusiastically covered participants from head to toe in brightly coloured powdered paint.

Supporters lined the route to encourage participants on, while music and entertainment kept the energy high throughout the event. Whether participants chose to run, jog, or walk around the course, everyone embraced the fun and celebrated together.
Once participants had completed the 1.5km route, they were all awarded a much-deserved colourful medal to celebrate their achievement.

This event would not be possible without the help and support of lots of individuals across Warrington. We would like to thank our sponsors for this year’s event: Inco Contracts, McDonald's, MKM, Orano, and Village Hotel.

Thank you also to Atomic Theatre Arts, PT Sharon Bannister, MC Adrian Cunliffe, First Aiders from Arc Training, Manchester Drinks Co., The Curators, Asda, ADS Skips, Walton Hall and Gardens, Cheshire Mix56, The Mayor of Warrington, all of the volunteers including Moore Camera Club.
And of course, the biggest thank you goes to everyone who took part and helped raise over £20,000 for patient care at St. Rocco’s Hospice.
