Our team of doctors ensure specialist symptom control both in the Day Care Unit and on the In Patient unit
All these services are offered to patients completely free of charge in an atmosphere of love and care.
The Hospice Clinical Team is supported by a small administrative and fundraising team. A large number of volunteers work in a variety of roles in all Departments. The Hospice management team reports formally to the Hospice Trustees seven times a year.
The running costs at St. Rocco’s Hospice are currently around £2.9 million per annum. Most of our funds are generated by the local community from sources such as fundraising events (e.g. the Starlight Walk,) generous corporate and community donations, legacies, the Hospice shops, a local lottery and Gift Aid tax relief . NHS Warrington (formerly Warrington Primary Care Trust) also contributes to the Hospice income.
