How St. Rocco's Hospice are funded

As a registered charity, St. Rocco's are not funded by the NHS. To fund our free, personalised, high quality palliative care across Warrington each year it costs us

Over £5.3m

With only 20% of this cost funded by the government, we rely heavily, each year on the generosity of our community through to ensure we can continue to care for adults with a life limiting illness wherever and whenever they need us. 

Our costs are primarily clinical and within our In Patient Unit which hosts 10 beds, Medical Outpatient Clinics and Outreach Services including Counselling and Emotional Care and Therapies. Our annual running cost is the equivalent of

In the last 12 months St. Rocco’s have supported over 1,500 patients and loved ones across the Warrington Community 

St. Rocco's is here to support our Warrington community and partners with palliative and end of life care needs, helping them live well and have a dignified death with individual care. We have been making every day count for over 40 years for our patients and those closest to them at the most difficult times. There are lots of ways that you can get involved and help support the future of hospice care in our community to ensure we can continue to support those who need us when they need us most for years to come.
