People often get confused about how we are funded.
They think that we are part of the NHS. Whilst we do receive some money from the local Warrington NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) we are a local charity here to serve the people of Warrington.
It costs £4.2 million every year to provide all of our care. That’s £10,000 every single day of the year. We need to raise around £4.2 million every year to continue to provide our care which is completely free to those who need us.
We rely on voluntary donations and fundraising to generate that amount. That’s why our supporters and volunteers are so important to us. We simply couldn’t survive without them.
Our generous supporters, including individuals, groups of people, local organisations and businesses help us in so many different ways so that we are here for people and their families when they need us. This includes taking part in our events, organising their own events, playing our lottery, providing gifts in kind [link to gifts in kind on corporate page] or simply making a donation .
We will never stop needing this support so please click here to find out how you can help us to ensure that we will still be able to provide our care for people both now and in the future.
