Counselling & Emotional Care
Coming to terms with a palliative diagnosis and dealing with the loss of a loved one can be devastating and St. Rocco’s offer emotional and psychological support to both patients and loved ones throughout this journey.
Whether its one to one sessions on through our Bereavement services our care and support continues after a loved one has died, providing a confidential and safe space to explore and share feelings and experiences.
Counselling Services
Counselling sessions are available to patients and loved ones both during palliative care and after the loss of a loved one and take place within the hospice. These sessions are run by our team of qualified councillors and requests for this can be made via our Warrington Integrated Palliative Care Hub.
Bereavement Support
Bereavement support is available at our St. Rocco’s Bereavement Cafés which run twice a month within the Warrington Community.
The cafes are a drop in and welcome anyone needing support managing bereavement and grief.
There is no need to book in advance and both cafes have wheelchair access.
