Ways to remember loved ones

The death of a loved one can be one of the most difficult things to experience. Making a donation in memory of your loved one is a wonderful way to celebrate their life. Here you can find multiple ways to do so.

Tribute Pages

At St. Rocco’s we know how difficult it is when you lose someone you love. We are here to support you and your family and to help you to remember your loved one and celebrate their life.

Tribute pages are a very special way to do this whilst also supporting patient care at St. Rocco’s.

A tribute page is a unique page you create and dedicate to your loved one. It is a place to share photos, messages and a focal point for not only remembering but for any fundraising you choose to carry out in their memory. They can be used to request donations in memory of a loved one, such as donations in lieu of funeral flowers.

The page can be shared with family and friends via social media and you can update at any time, adding photos, memories and more.

All donations given in memory of a loved one will be collated and a total displayed.

St. Rocco’s team are happy to chat and explain more about these pages if needed.

Tree of life

The St. Rocco’s Tree of Life is a beautiful, specially designed display, set in our main reception. You can add your personalised and engraved leaf to create a meaningful and lasting tribute to your loved one.

Once your leaf has been added to the Tree, you, your friends or family will be able to visit the Tree during our normal office hours (Mon – Fri 9am to 5pm).

Funeral donations

Many families choose to limit funeral flowers to immediate relatives and invite other family and friends to make a donation to a chosen charity in memory of their loved one instead.

St. Rocco’s would be privileged to accept such donations made in lieu of flowers.  They are a special way to pay tribute to your loved one while helping St. Rocco’s to continue their care in 2022 and beyond.

We know that planning a funeral can be a difficult time, so we are here to help by making the collection of donations on the day both straightforward and discreet.

We will provide you with all you need, including a secure collection box which can be personalised and special Gift donation envelopes which include a Gift Aid declaration, allowing St. Rocco’s to claim 25p for every £1 that family and friends donate, at no extra cost to them.
