Leave a Gift in your Will

A gift in your will can help us continue to offer compassionate, free care to hundreds of people across Warrington and their loved ones each year, now and in the future.

We are currently able to support one in six people we care for because someone- a stranger, a neighbour, someone who never even used our services decided hospice care mattered enough to protect. It really does make such a significant difference to us. Any gift, whether it be small or large, is so important to our patients and their loved ones.

There are several ways to support St. Rocco’s through a gift in your will. We run an ongoing Will Writing Service, providing opportunities to make or update a Will, and this October we will be taking part in Will Month. Both involve working with local solicitors who generously offer their time to provide a will writing service, in return for a suggested donation to the hospice from yourself.

We believe in making every day count for everyone who visits St. Rocco’s and aim is to continue to provide the best specialist care that we possibly can for the people of Warrington. Our care is provided free of charge, with only a fifth of our costs supported by the government and NHS, so as a registered charity we rely on fundraising donations to continue to deliver the care and support that our patients and their loved ones deserve.

We could not have continued to do this for the last 40 years without the many kind and generous gifts that people have left us in their wills, and we want to continue to be there for them in the future.

Will Month

Make a Will Month is an annual initiative where local solicitors waive their fees in exchange for a donation to St. Rocco's Hospice.

This provides an affordable way for individuals to create or update their Will while also supporting hospice care for those with life-limiting illnesses. This year, St. Rocco's will run the scheme in partnership with local solicitors during October.

Instead of paying the usual solicitor fees, participants are encouraged to make a donation to the hospice.

The suggested minimum donation is:

  • £150 for a single Will
  • £200 for a double Will
  • £80 for a codicil

Appointments are now available throughout October with our participating solicitors; please contact them directly to book:
