Terms and Conditions for a St Rocco’s Place                          

By applying for a charity place in the Warrington Running Festival 2026, I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Participation Agreement

  • I confirm that I will be at least: 17 years old on the date of the event (Half Marathon), or 15 years old on the date of the event (10k)
  • I acknowledge that I participate in the event entirely at my own risk. St. Rocco’s Hospice shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage sustained whilst participating in the event.
  • I confirm that I am physically fit and well enough to take part. I understand it is my responsibility to seek medical advice prior to participation if required.
  • I understand that the event is organised by a third-party event organiser and not by St. Rocco’s Hospice. I agree to comply with the event organiser’s own terms and conditions as part of my registration. To view visit https://runforcharity.com/terms-and-conditions
  • St. Rocco’s Hospice reserves the right to cancel my place in the event if I fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

2. Charity Place Conditions & Registration Fee

  • I understand that I cannot swap, sell or transfer my place in the event.
  • I agree to inform St. Rocco’s Hospice immediately if I am unable to take part in the event for any reason.
  • The registration fee (if applicable) is non-refundable.

3. Fundraising

  • I agree that my charity place is conditional upon raising a minimum of:
      • £150 for a 10k place
      • £200 for a Half Marathon place.
      • £30 for a junior/Fun Run place.

      I understand that at least 50% of the fundraising target must be raised by 18th August 2026 in order to retain my place.

      • £75 for the 10k place
      • £100 for the Half Marathon place
      • £15 for the Junior place

      This amount excludes the registration fee and Gift Aid.

      • Rocco’s Hospice reserves the right to withdraw my charity place if the required milestone is not met by 18th August 2026.
      • I agree that all monies raised from fundraising activities will be paid to St. Rocco’s Hospice and must comply with UK Charity Law, Fundraising Code of Practice and St. Rocco’s Hospice policies.
      • Donations must be paid to St. Rocco’s Hospice using one of the following methods:
      • Via your online Enthuse fundraising page.
      • By bank transfer (Details provided by St. Rocco’s Hospice)
      • Card, cash or cheque payments brought into St. Rocco’s Hospice, Lockton Lane, Bewsey, Warrington, WA5 0BW.
      • By cheque posted to the above address (Please do not send cash in the post)
      • By debit/credit card over the phone by calling St. Rocco’s Hospice Fundraising Team on 01925 575780.

      • Donations made to St. Rocco’s Hospice are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances at St. Rocco’s Hospice discretion.

      4. Junior / Fun Run Participants (including all under 18)

      Where the participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must complete the registration process and agree to these Terms and Conditions on the child’s behalf.

      • By registering a junior participant, the parent or guardian confirms that they consent to the child’s participation and that they have parental responsibility for the child at the event.
      • The parent or guardian agrees to the fundraising commitment applicable to the charity place and accepts responsibility for ensuring the fundraising target is met.
      • Consent for photography, filming and the processing of personal data relating to the junior participant is given by the parent or legal guardian in accordance with Sections 5 and 6 of these Terms and Conditions.

      5. Photography and Media

      • I understand that photography and filming will take place during the event.
      • Images will be published on St. Rocco’s Hospice Flickr and may be used on St. Rocco’s website, social media channels and wider media outlets.
      • I understand that I may withdraw this consent by contacting fundraising@stroccos.org.uk.

      6. Personal Data

      • I understand that my personal data will be shared with the event organisers and entered into the Run For Charity portal as part of the registration process.
      • St Rocco’s Hospice may contact me by email, phone or post in relation to the event and to support my fundraising.
      • Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the charity’s Privacy Notice, available at stroccos.org.uk.
      • Rocco’s Hospice may occasionally send marketing communications by post. I can update my contact preferences at any time by calling
