Meet Janice, Senior Nurse

As a Senior Nurse on our inpatient unit I am responsible for providing daily, personalised care to our patients as well as mentoring junior members of the wider nursing team. Together we ensure our patients are comfortable during their stay with us, help manage any pain and control symptoms, provide information and be there to support them in their palliative journey.

I have worked at St. Rocco's for 25 years.

What is your favourite food?

My favourite food is cheese.

What is your favourite song/music?

I have no idea! It changes every week. But my least favourite song is probably Baby Shark!

I’ve lost over 4 stone this year.

What is the best thing about your job?

Knowing that our work makes a big difference to the lives of families and relatives.

What do you do to switch off from work?

I like to do some gardening.
