Packer- E-commerce Dispatch (Weekday Mornings)
We’re looking for reliable and organised volunteers to join our distribution centre as Packers. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys practical tasks and working as part of a friendly team. The role of the Packer- Ecommerce Dispatch is to pick items sold through our e-commerce platform, pack orders safely and accurately, prepare parcels for postage and courier collection, and keep the packing area tidy and organised.
How much time will it take?
We are looking for individuals to volunteer on weekday mornings from 09.00 am.
Am I right for the job?
For this role, you'll need to be:
- Reliable and comfortable with light physical tasks
- Able to follow packing and postage guidelines
- Have good attention to detail
Clothing Sorter
We’re seeking volunteers with an interest in fashion and a good eye for quality to help sort clothing donations at our distribution centre. The role of the clothing sorter is to receive and sort donated clothing, shoes and accessories, identify brands, styles and seasonal stock, prepare orders for dispatch to the correct shops and ensure unsuitable items are diverted appropriately.
How much time will it take?
We are looking for individuals to volunteer on weekday mornings from 09.00 am.
Am I right for the job?
For this role, you'll need to be:
- Understanding of seasonal stock (e.g. winter coats vs summer wear)
- Have a good knowledge of clothing brands and trends
- Able to work methodically and maintain quality standards
- Enjoy working in a busy, hands-on environment as part of a team, as well as able to work independently
