Voluntary Services Lead

Part time: up to 30 hours per week, with days and hours flexible. There will be a need to work until 5pm one afternoon per week and occasional evenings or weekend days.

Up to £26,000 per annum for 30 hours per week (FTE salary £32,500)

If so, you could be the person we are looking for to join the St Rocco’s team as our new Voluntary Services Lead, to lead the way in delivering an exceptional volunteer experience across St Rocco’s, ensuring that every volunteer feels valued and supported – and that their work makes a meaningful impact to the work of the hospice.

What you’ll do:

• Lead on the development and delivery of our volunteering strategy and action plans
• Design and coordinate inclusive recruitment campaigns
• Support services to develop meaningful volunteer roles
• Work collaboratively to identify, design and implement volunteer-led services to extend our reach and impact
• Drive volunteer development, recognition and retention initiatives
• Analyse volunteering metrics to inform opportunities and improvements
• Champion equity, diversity and inclusion within the volunteer workforce
What we are looking for:
• Significant operational experience leading teams and managing services, ideally in the voluntary sector
• A successful track record of delivering operational projects
• Strong experience in designing and implementing efficient operational processes which deliver organisational value and manage risk
