Sorting Centre Volunteer

The Role

St. Rocco’s have a network of shops across Warrington, Stockton Heath, and Lymm that generate a substantial level of income to enable us to care for our patients and their families.

Our Sorting Centre in Penketh supports the Shops by sorting and storing stock to be distributed across all shops. The role of a Sorting Centre Volunteer is vital for the smooth running of our shop operations.

How much time will it take?

Our Sorting Centre operates Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. You can volunteer the hours that suit you, but ideally we’ll need you to volunteer for 4 hours a week.

Am I right for the job?

For this role, you'll need to be:

  • Happy to work in a team of volunteers
  • Keen to help with the processing of donated stock for our shops
  • Physically able to assist with moving stock around the Sorting Centre
  • Have an enthusiastic approach to getting things done
  • Keen to learn new skills.
  • Have an eye for fashion trends
