On Sunday 11th May, 550 individuals arrived at Walton Hall and Gardens dressed in white t-shirts and colourful accessories ready to walk, run or skip around the park to raise money for St. Rocco’s Hospice and celebrate 40 years of care.
During the event, coloured powdered paint was thrown by sponsors and volunteers who made sure participants were covered head to toe!
Meet Lauren’s Angels
Lauren’s Angels came together again this year to take part to celebrate the life of their beautiful friend Lauren who passed away in February 2024.
"We will never be able to thank them (St. Rocco's) enough, but we can do something to give back. That's why we ran - to celebrate Lauren's life, to remember her, and to raise money so that St. Rocco's can continue their amazing work for other families in need."
In her final weeks, the hospice cared for Lauren, ensuring she was comfortable, dignified and surrounded by love. This support was also given to her young daughter, family, and friends, offering kindness and compassion when it was needed most.
