About me:
My name is Liam and I have recently joined St Rocco’s Hospice in a new role as a Corporate Partnerships Manager. My background is varied having worked in recruitment for a number of years and also as a fundraiser for the charity PAPYRUS. Outside of work I have a little girl who likes to keep me busy!
My role:
I am part of the Income Generation team, and I will be networking with lots of different companies across Warrington to build up our corporate support.
A typical day:
With my role being new, I am looking forward to making it my own. In my first couple of weeks, I have spent time with some of the different departments around the hospice. I will spend time meeting with different companies, big and small, and I will be sharing with them all the wonderful work that happens in all our different services. I will build up our Charity of the Year support and encourage more companies to join in with our events.
Why I wanted to work at St Rocco’s:
My dad was cared for by St Rocco’s before he died, and I was so touched by the care he received. I knew I wanted to help them raise money so that they can care for others.
What I love about what I do:
I am a people person and with my background in recruitment, I am used to talking to different people about the matters that are important to them. I also love working for charities that are making a difference.
